Personal Training sessions with Lynn guarantee to leave you feeling cared for but sore the next day in all the good ways! My holistic approach to training incorporates body centered workout while mixing elements of yoga, circus arts, Kung Fu, and traditional sports training. In addition to working your muscles we will work your mind and use intention and visualization to bring the Bodies Energy Centers (often referred to as Chakras) into balance! My workouts are designed to bring strength, flexibility, balance , and alignment to your body, mind, and soul!
What will we do in my training session?
Each session will begin with about 15 minutes of foam rolling. I once trained with a Personal Trainer of the Year for Lifetime Fitness and the best in the industry swear by this pre-workout self care. It wakes up the muscles and prepares them to work by releasing tension, relieving muscle soreness, and improving flexibility and range of motion. During this time we will also check in and set goal and intentions for the session as well as the week ahead in your day to day life. Because my session also work with the energy centers, you can except to see transformation in outside world as well as your body!

LEGS: Yoga and Kund Fu poses that offer both Leg strength and flexibility. While focused on a grounded and stable Root Energy Center will will move across the the space in sequences that will test your balance. HIPS & GLUTES: I will have you feeling the burn! The fire in your muscles from all the reps will awaken you Sacral Energy Center with creativity and sexual vitality! ABS & BACK: A strong core will serve your Solar Plexus Energy Center and inspire confidence and a healthy ego and self-esteem. I have countless ab exercises to choose from. We will find ones that challenge you but feel right in your body. CHEST & ARMS: Push-up, planks, dip, and more will get your Heart Energy Center pumping! After putting in this work you will feel a new level of love for yourself and your body! CARDIO: You will have the opportunity for self-expression of the Throat Energy Center through dance! You will get to choose between free form movement, a simple and fun choreographed song, or a tradition cardio circuit to with motivational audio. |
MEDITATION: Ending the session with 5 mins of sitting or laying meditation will round of the with the clarity of the Third Eye Energy Center and divine inspiration of the Crown Energy Center.

In this video I use a simple wrist warm up from Shaolin Kung Fu to lead me into freestyle dance guides by the wrists and wrist sensations - a alignment of my energetic Chi.. Later I introduce static yoga poses with flexibility, strength, and balance.

This video highlights dynamic dance with a contact staff - a close cousin of the traditional Bo staff in martial arts. In my training, I am cultivating the "peaceful warrior". It requires the same discipline but the energy is receptive rather than defensive in nature.
