Music, writing, and general crafting can all be very transformational practice. The creative space offers a wide variety of non-movement based creative experiences.
Open Creative Writing
When it comes to The Law of Attraction and manifestation, writing is key! Open Creative Writing is for journaling and reflecting on the day, dreaming up plans for the future, putting together the perfect poem, or even just doodling in our favorite notebook. When writing, simply being in the presence of other writers is helpful and inspiring and we feel it is important to hold space for this. We at The Creative Space feel the act of writing is so important that we are offering this time and space on a donation base. We welcome quiet collaboration and idea swapping but want to hold a library feel during this time. Come share this time with us.
Open Musical Drum Circle Jam
Bring your favorite instrument and come on out and play some music! This music jam will have the feeling of a traditional drum circle but with the addition of any instruments you bring in! Guitars, Horns, Harmonicas, Kazoos, you name it. Come and create wonderful music and mingle with other local musicians! Maybe some of the hottest up and coming bands will burst forth from this little jam session!
Open Mic
Come and share your talent with your community! Singers, dancers, poets, comedians, and more. All levels, beginner to pro, are welcome here. This will be a family friendly event which encouraged creative and passionate people to "be seen" doing what they love to do.
Crafty Time
The Creative Space features a wonderfully well stocked craft corner to suit all your creative needs. This space invites you paint, collage, sew, create a vision board, or even scrapbook your dreams and visions!

Choose your own feathers and stones and we'll show you how to turn them into a pair beautiful earrings! You will take home your pair of earring and the skills to make your own earrings for a lifetime!

Photography and Video Editing ~ Do you have tons of pictures sitting on a hard drive from your last vacation and nothing to do with them? Why not make a movie! In this class we will take you step by step from getting pictures off the camera onto the computer and into photo editing software ( Google Picasa can be downloaded free of the internet). From there, we will show you different techniques to get creative with your pictures and then we'll show you how to compile them into a slideshow movie to your favorite music! Believe it or not, this whole website was created in just 2 days and is hosted for free by Weebly. Weebly offers a simple and easy to use "dashboard" that makes creating a website fun and interesting! After this class, and with a little time and practice, you'll be able to create your own website too! No technical programing skills required, just a little know how, which you will get from this class! You'll be sent home with printed instructions on how to create different pages and tabs, insert photos, and more! You can look back to refresh when continuing to work on your site from home
